In certain regions of India, The Registrar General of India is in the process of administering enrolments for the National Population Register (NPR). During the registration through NPR,enrolment for Aadhaar will take place at the same time. The regions that this affects are:
- Arunachal Pradesh
- Dadra and Nagar Haveli
- Jammu and Kashmir
- Tamil Nadu
- West Bengal
Applying online in different languages
You will need to attend an enrolment centre in person as part of the verification process. However, most of the application process for Aadhaar can be completed online. If you want to download the application form in a particular language, just follow this guide:
- Visit the UIDAI site here https://uidai.gov.in/.
- Click on the ‘Language’ tab.
- Select your language you require.
- Navigate to ‘Site Map’.
- Click on ‘Downloads’.
- Locate the form from the sub-menu and download.
