What is DBTL?

DBTL stands for Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG subsidy. The scheme which is managed by the Government of India’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas began in 2014 across some districts. Since 1 January 2015, it has been made available in all districts across the country.

  1. Log in to your bank account online
  2. Click to link to connect your Adhaar Card with your bank account
  3. Enter your Aadhaar number and other required fields
  4. After verification, you will receive an SMDS confirmation to your registered mobile number

How to receive the LPG subsidy

Again, this is a simple process once your card and account are linked. There are 2 possible steps to take. These are:

  1. Provide your bank with your Gas Connection credentials

OR

  1. Provide your Gas Distributor Office with your bank details
